Museum Brand

Context
The Museum of Nový Jičín’s eight sites appeared as separate entities rather than parts of one museum. Their modern brand guidelines offered
a clean aesthetic but lacked the warmth and playfulness needed to attract families with children. With each branch managing its own visuals and social media presence, the museum’s identity became scattered and inconsistent.
Solution
I developed a main illustration in
a consistent color palette, which became the foundation for graphics across all sites. Each location received its own “visual signature” – for example, the prehistoric-focused museum features illustrations inspired by archaeological finds.
The new visual system also established a unified style for social media, giving each branch greater independence through customizable templates I created in Wix Studio. These templates allow staff to easily produce on-brand visuals for posts, stories, and promotional materials.
In addition, I designed Instagram filters and projection visuals for video mapping, further expanding the museum’s cohesive and engaging visual identity.
